Riad Irene

Situated inside the ramparts of the Medina of Marrakesh, in the Sidi Ben Slimane's quiet and authentic district, there where lived Averroes during the 12th century, the riad Irene is 15 minutes on foot from the Jemma El Fna square, 7 minutes from souks, the Medersa Ben Youssef and the Museum of Marrakesh and 10 minutes from the magnificent Gardens of Majorelle. A taxi station and a car park outside of ramparts are 2 minutes on foot from it.

The riad (which means "house-garden") consists of a patio with trees and plants where you can refresh yourself near the fountain. Around the patio, are situated the different rooms : 5 air-conditioned bedrooms including each one a confortable large bed for 2 persons and an adjacent bathroom, a b' hou (Moroccan lounge), a dining room, a kitchen and an office.

The panoramic terrace allows to admire the city and, far off, the Atlas mountains and invites in the relaxation with its sun-beds and its two lounges, one under the pergola, the other one under the Berber tent. Also you can have dinner there (up to 10 persons).
